We help you avoid that by getting involved at concept stage, alongside your architect or designer or one of ours, and we price as the drawings develop. You know what it’s going to cost while there’s still time to change it.
And when a job is genuinely hard, a second storey on an existing home or a period building that needs to become something else, we’ll take it on. Nat learned that work from his dad, Neil.

Nat prices your job, runs your site and signs your contract. Nobody hands you off to someone you have never met. You know who you’re dealing with from the first conversation to the last day on site.
We'll tell you where not to spend
Spend where it matters. Save where it won’t make a difference. We’ve built enough homes to know the difference, and we’ll suggest cost-saving options that produce the same outcome.

While Nat is the Director, he is also the one behind the scenes who prices your job, oversees your site and signs your contract. He may be off the building tools, but he has an eye for detail and ensures that your build, whether big or small, is what you dreamed of.
Harry Twaits
Building supervisor
Fully qualified carpenter and now leading the sites from start to finish. Harry is on site throughout the build, directing the team and trades while keeping you up to date along the way.

The carpenters on your site are our employees. They know our standards, take pride in their work and treat your home like they’d treat their own.

Straight answers
Do I need plans before I contact you?
No. In fact, we’d rather hear from you early. We can work alongside your designer and help keep the design within your budget. Already have plans? That’s fine too. We can usually move faster towards a contract.
Do you work outside Ballarat?
We work across Ballarat and surrounds. Staying close to home means you get our crew on site, not one we’ve had to bring in for the job
Can we stay in the house during a renovation?
Sometimes. It depends on the project, the design, practicality and safety. Living through a renovation takes more planning and can add time, but we’ve staged jobs so families can live in one half of the house while we work on the other. It’s not always the easiest or cheapest option, but it could save you money without the need to pay rent, and sometimes that makes it worthwhile.
